Lesli Mancktelow

I am a skilled and experienced counsellor, group facilitator, workshop and conference presenter, and I am passionate about seeing people bring about change in their lives.

I am a warm, outgoing and empathetic person who relates easily to people of differing cultures and diverse backgrounds. Core values I hold include respect, honesty and integrity.  I believe in listening to, valuing and honouring people and the path they walk in life.

I have worked with individuals, couples and groups for more than 10 years, both here in NZ and overseas. I spent 6 years working in Spain and the United Kingdom as a counsellor, group facilitator and mentor, with people who experienced emotional, relational or sexual brokenness. This experience enabled me to develop a deep compassion and understanding of the many struggles people face in their lives. During my time in Spain I learnt to speak Spanish, which enabled me to counsel and mentor people in their own language.

My role as a counsellor is to help you to get on the path to bring about the changes you wish to make in your life.

I have a Bachelor of Counselling, gained through Weltec, (Wellington) and Diplomas in both Intercultural Studies and Theology from Worldview Centre for Intercultural Studies. (Tasmania, Australia.)

I am a fully registered member of NZCCA – (New Zealand Christian Counsellors Association)

On the personal side, I am a practicing Christian and my relationship with God is central to my life. I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I love exploring the great outdoors, and I am passionate about seeing growth take place in my own life, as well as in the lives of others.
